She is the first person and woman to be featured as the first non artist to be interviewed for IMVU Music. Although she isn't an artist, she definitely is no stranger to the music industry. When you think of the major companies in the industry you think of BET, MACtv, BTV and IMVU Music you think of powerful women like BosQueen, Adri and the very lady we are interviewing Aaleeyah. She is known for heading the BET network and the BET awards along with many other endeavors so her name is very widely known in the IMVU music and television community. We talked to her about everything from her humble beginnings, recieving hate from "fans" and to her now running her own empire.

1. Q: What made you want to step in your career field and create such large companies?

A: When I started out in this industry , I had the inspiration from a good friend of mines Adri. She was such a big successful woman, that I wanted to be a successful businesswoman. I didn't think I would be this big though.

2. Q: Who are some major public figures who inspire you?

A: Adri is one of them ofc, another would be Bosqueen she is another successful businesswoman who is killin the game.

3. Q: Do you have some major projects that you are working on ?

A: Other than BET, I have my Fashion Blog Website called Fashion Bomb Daily, I am also planning the BET Honors Awards coming in the Mid-Summer. A lot of people asked me about the BET awards but I’m not doing it this year. Then I have mini projects and events coming soon to both fashion and entertainment industries.

4. Q: When did you first enter the industry? what were your expectations and what was your experience up until now?

A: I entered this industry back in September 2013, I didn't expect much I just wanted to do something a lil different than just being in the fashion biz. I started off doing reality shows when I entered this industry. I did a model competition and then 3 seasons of Total Divas. I have had some good experiences from being just on shows to doing some PR work for different artist and businesses to managing an artist.

5. Q: Do you have any favorite artists out now?

A: Paxton is one of my top 3 cause his music is different and I love that he is different, Mariah Carey is another who is dominating this industry. She embodies the reall Mariah well with her creative videos and concerts, another one is Naheem, he isnt new to the industry but he is new to the artist world. I love his flow of music which be having me want to be in love. I have many more old and new but those are my top 3.

6. Q: I know you are no stranger to drama in the industry and people constantly voicing hate towards you and even using your pictures to insult you. How do you feel about it and do you feel like any of it is necessary?

A: To be honest... Its funny and pathetic at the same time. I laugh because they're not hurting me. I post pictures of me on my instagram cause im not afraid of the skin I am in. GOD made me this way. They really can't do nothing else but talk bull shit on their accounts and other little things like their talk shows and to their friends. I'm ugly to a lot of people that doesn't mean I should stop being me. It's really pathetic because they have no lives so to make themselves feel good about themselves they gotta make fun of others. They don't understand that I been voicing my opinion long before I had an imvu instagram and I will still post and say what I want and how I feel. They can unfollow and block me if they don't like it.

7. Q: What is your advice to the new artists and public figures who come in the industry and don’t know how it is to be in the industry?

A: I would say to never let anyone stop you from doing what you want to accomplish. Stay away from as much drama as possible. You're going to come across it but learn that everyone don't need a response and to always stay focused on your craft.

8. Q: Do you have anything to say to your fans who are expecting new things from you and your network ?

A: Thank you for supporting me and sticking by me since day one. Continue to show support and I will continue to do my job.

This interview truly was a very fun interview and I appreciate Aaleeyah for taking the time to answer all of my questions. She truly exuded humility and was perfectly open with answering the questions and even saying more, but due to time restraints and a few errors on my end I couldn’t get the full footage of what she said. She spoke from her beginnings as a model, her aspirations, her looking up to the top moguls in the industry Adri and BosQueen and what’s next. Look forward to her new projects as you will be seeing her name everywhere in 2016. The moral of the story is, if they ain't paying your bills, feeding or having sex with you on a regular, then pay them bitches no mind!
