Artist of The Month: Peachy

Welcome the IMVU Music's Artist to Watch for the month of April! This specific article is dedicated to new artists who are doing their thing. This artist’s debut song “Mirror Man” is a great soulful song that fully demonstrates her beautiful vocals. It serves as a very fitting hello to the industry.

1. JihNu: How are you doing?

Peachy: (She smiles for a moment) I feel so great thanks.

2. JihNu: So for those who don't know you or who exactly you are as an artist, can you tell them?

Peachy: First, I am Peach Cruz. I am Currently Miss Earth 2015, Celebrity, Fashion Stylist, and Artist. I must say, I’m an Artist who has my very own principles. I am an artist that creates artistry from the heart and shares to other people. I just started from below and now that I am reaching each of my goals I still do not forget the people who helped me reached it hence, I am an artist that doesn't stop dreaming.

3. JihNu: So what made you want to take not just a little step out of the Pageant lane but a huge one and become an artist?

Peachy: To be honest, I really wanted to become a Beauty Queen ever since I started IMVU. But like any other person who fulfilled their dreams, they do not settle for less rather they spend more time to discover or rediscover skills that might be used in the future. Then I came the music industry, I made a decision to try and now I am more than happy of the result.

4. JihNu: What kind of artist is Peachy?

Peachy: I prefer going on the Jazzy and Mellow side, I belong in the Adele-ish type of genre. But as we all know, an artist should not be enclosed with one or two genre instead, go and discover the different genres because from their you can get more ideas and more songs that you can input to your own blend :)

5. JihNu: But in sticking with this topic of your music and the industry, what do you have planned for the next step for you musically? Any performances, videos or projects coming up ?

Peachy: My next steps would possibly be having my upcoming singles and an album, I would also wanted to have my first ever music video but it would not be the first single. I do take one step at a time and as much as possible I really check on a daily basis my progress to insure somehow my stability with the industry.

6. JihNu: So after you do that do you plan on fully transitioning into an artist? Or will you still have your hand in some Pagaent work ?

Peachy: I am fully transitioning to the Artistry Scene. Sideline with the Styling Job. Later this year, I will be representing Miss USA for Miss Universe 2016 but still deciding whether to grab that or not due to timezone issues.

7. JihNu: But how do you feel about handing your crown over to a new Miss Earth?

Peachy: Handing my crown and title to the Next Miss Earth is an opportunity for me, why? Because I will be crowning a deserving and passionate girl who dreams to be a beauty queen, which is a dream of mine as well when I was starting. Handing over the crown and title is something that is worth the time and effort and happiness that I had during my journey.

8. JihNu: Do you have any dream collaborators?

Peachy: Probably it would be Rihanna, Nicki, Mariah, Drake, TygaMills, etc.

9. JihNu: Have you received any advice from any artists who came in before you ?

Peachy20: Yes, kumiko already gave me an advice. Before i was seen on the artistry scene, I already observed and asked or talked with some artists like FierceTammie, Kumiko, etc.

10. JihNu: What are 2-3 things you can't leave home without ?

Peachy20: My bag, perfume and earphones

11. JihNu: Who are your inspirations ? People who push you to do what you do?

Peachy20: Inspirations, it would be the following who helped me reached my goals: PrinceDeManos, Kumiko, TatiMcIntosh, FierceTammie, MrRedX and you, Jihnu. You guys inspired me in singing and pageantry plus styling from yours my dear.

12. JihNu: Do you have anyone that you have your eyes set on or your heart?

At the moment none, because I just recently had a failed “getting to know each other.” Sometimes we think that person is already the person we dreamed of but suddenly through the days pain will strike you in every hour with the things you know about them, an example would be is that someone will DM you on Instagram and send you a message if you are dating and I like him... But I do not care anymore, so yeah, I do not have someone in my heart. Hopefully and hoping to have someone, it’s been awhile since I had a relationship, to be exact is 1 year and half I guess.

13. JihNu: Okay final question, do you have anything you want to say to your supporters and fans?

Peachy20: I just wanna say thank you for the support you have giving me from the very start of my career. In this virtual industry that we are living in I want to say that we should innovate ourselves, be what we wanna be, but one things for sure, look back to the past and create a better present and future.

Throughout the entire interview she had this air of professionalism. She knew exactly what she wanted to say and answer the questions honestly. This was truly one of the most down to earth interviews that i've done so far.
